Labeling the Mormon church
Our church is often referred to as a mormon cult, but it seems more often than not, this is coming from certain Evangelical denominations, but most especially pastors. I’ve had the most unpleasant conversations with pastors who arrogantly tried to tell me what we believe in and when I corrected them and showed them documentation to prove we did not believe what they said we did, they just continued to claim it. I think the label mormon cult is just used as a scare tactic so their members won’t look into a church that is gaining a lot of converts.
