A Tip From A Teacher

No teacher likes to retain a student. It makes the teacher look bad as well as the student. Not to mention the way the parent would feel. Can we say embarrassment. So as a teacher who cares, I always recommend things the parent can do to help improve their child’s struggling area(s). For one parent I suggested to her to purchase a phonics reading book, or activity to help her child better understand the letters and first words when it comes to reading. I can not wait until I hear how he’s been responding, and even how his grades would improve. I enjoy being able to help to better someone else.
