All About Carbs, Protein and Fat
Carbohydrates should make up 50 to 55% of your diet. Don’t listen to those low carb diets. The body needs the energy from carbohydrates. Don’t listen to those myths about losing weight by cutting the carbs of your regular diet. Proteins should consist of 25 to 30% of your diet. Having the right amount of protein in your diet fights disease and builds resistance.
Keep fat down to 15 to 20% because that’s all your body needs. It’s important to avoid processed pork like bacon and ham. You can’t lose weight quickly by simply cutting all your carbs, fat or protein from your diet. You’re body needs them too.
