Note of Appreciation to B+B Owners From Satisfied Guests

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

Upon returning home from our weekend at your fantastic B+B in Cavan, I had to write to let you know what a wonderful experience it was.  Our guest room was lovely, furnished with a king-size bed, hand-stitched quilt, and comfortable chairs.  I spent several hours sitting in the rocking chair by the window reading and enjoying the wonderful view.  My husband’s days were filled with golfing at a nearby course where he made several new acquaintances, but I think his favorite time of the day was breakfast.  We have never eaten such delicious, or so much, food for breakfast.  Fortunately for me I could walk off the calories on the walking trails in the forest.  Thank you for your hospitality and be assured we will recommend your b+b to all our friends.

Pollo A La Brasa For The Whole Family to Enjoy

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

Peruvian food is a wonderful, tasty experience when prepared properly, and pollo a la brasa is a simple, marvelous dish known as Peruvian chicken here in the United States. Food originating in Peru is best known for its flavors that represent countries from around the globe; the food combines Creole and Japanese influences with those of Parisian and Italian origin. You’ll find an excellent example of polla a la brasa at Fiesta Limena in Norwalk, CT.Best known for chicken and seafood dishes, Peruvian food is a tasteful experience that even the pickiest eater is sure to enjoy. Polla a la brasa is a brazen combination of spices like cumin and paprika, cooked into chicken and served either beside a potato dish, like french fries, or on top of sliced potatoes. What meat-eater doesn’t enjoy a well-cooked chicken? It’s fun, it’s delicious, and it’s something the whole family can enjoy.

Plan a Getaway to Lake Rotoiti Holiday Homes

Monday, November 30th, 2009

My husband and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary a few weeks ago and I gave him a wonderful surprise  He has been working long hours and we haven’t been on a holiday for several years so I rented a small studio apartment through Lake Rotoiti Holiday Homes.  It had wonderful views of the forest and the lake and was located near Okere Falls.  We spent plenty of evenings on the upper deck enjoying the pleasant weather.  My husband was both surprised and pleased with this gift and I was pleased with how easy it was to pull of.  I was able to make the reservations online with no effort at all.

Finding cheap hotels in Spain

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

There’s a definite art to finding really good value hotels. I’ve just spent a holiday in Spain and was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of accommodation over there – in certain areas anyway. I started by looking for ‘cheap hotels in Europe’ and came up with Spain by chance. I love the culture over there. The country is so vibrant and exciting with loads of colours everywhere, so I thought, why not? I’m really glad I went in the end and couldn’t believe the hotel bargain I found. It was around £10 per night for a decent room in a nice resort.

Bahamas and Dolphins

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

We had been saving for the vacation of our dreams. Finally we were able to plan a trip to the Bahamas. To get there we used a Bahamas Air charter Lear jet which was a real treat. It was so much more luxurious than commercial airlines. The hotel was nice and the food was great, but the one thing I had always wanted to do was swim with the dolphins at Blue Lagoon. It was amazing to be in the water with these beautiful sea creatures. These intelligent animals would swim right up to us and give us dolphin kisses. It was truly the experience of a lifetime.

Crazy confusion

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

The new zealand car rental company was absolutely great to deal with when we went on our trip down there. For some reason, at the last minute, there was some sort of confusion with the company we were supposed to be dealing with. Fortunately for us this other crowd was more than helpful and made sure we would have a vehicle waiting for us at the airport. I was so grateful that they could help us out like that as it would have made my wife completely stress out. Not only did it make our trip go a lot smoother, it also saved me from having to cope with my wife losing her mind.

Traveling Abroad for Once

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

I’m going to Europe this summer – the whole summer! I’ve wanted to do this since I was 16, and now that we’re retiring we can finally do something like this. We’re mostly going to be in a little cottage in northern France, and we’ll just relax, but we’re going to take a few quick trips for excitement too. I’m looking into venice city breaks and tours of London, and maybe we’ll even go to Moscow! I love that we haven’t even decided for sure yet – we’ll just pick a place and then go there when we feel like it.
