The Durga Puja Celebration

The event celebrates the worship of the Hindu goddess Durga. It is said to be the biggest festival of every year as it is celebrated for six days and considered as a social and cultural even wherein most Bengalis spend the time making fanfares. The autumnal ceremony is also popularly known as the Sharadiya. During these days, the Bengalis and Hindus all over the world rejoice to their hearts connecting with families, relatives and friends in commemoration of the Durga Puja festival.
