Overflow in the Middle of the Night

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

One of the last things you want to be woken up in the middle of the night for is the toilet overflowing. That very thing happened not too long ago. My son woke me up and I could tell he felt bad about it. It wasn’t his fault and I wasn’t mad at him, it was just having to get up and outta bed at 3am that I wasn’t too pleased with. I didn’t even know what to do. I looked up someone to help and was pleasantly surprised to find Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaning Provo Utah has 24-hour water cleanup service. It wasn’t too long before I was able to head back to bed.

Dad Asks a Favor

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

My dad has asked me to go in to work with him tomorrow. He is a science teacher and I’m a struggling painter, so I couldn’t figure out why he wanted me to go. He said that he wants me to paint a picture of an air cylinder for his class. I think that my dad is crazy, I don’t know what his seventh graders will think about that, but I love my dad so I told him that I will do it. The only problem is that I have no idea what one looks like. I guess I’d better search online.

What I Never Thought I Would Experience; Bankruptcy

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Two years ago, my family and I had to declare bankruptcy. It was the absolute lowest point in my entire life. I felt like I would never be able to purchase anything again. We worked with a really good bankruptcy lawyer, he was able to make sure a minimal amount of damage was done to our finances. This year we needed to purchase a new van. We knew we would need to look for Bad Credit Car Loans. I was really afraid at what type of interest rate we would get. When we applied it wasn’t as bad as I thought, but still higher than we would have gotten five years ago.

My Girlfriend Knows a Lot about Elliptical Trainers

Friday, January 29th, 2010

My girlfriend called me up last night to rave about the new gym she has found. She says that they have top notch equipment for both men and women. When I asked her how she knew the equipment was so great, she informed me that she had been reading up on elliptical trainer reviews because she was thinking of getting her own to have at home. Apparently this gym has the trainers that are most highly rated. I didn’t realize that there was that much difference, but my friend says that once you try different ones, you can easily tell  and your workout will be affected as well.

Avoiding triggers does not help overcome panic attacks!

Friday, January 29th, 2010

The first step to overcoming panic attacks is recognizing what your triggers are and facing them – Avoiding the trigger does not help.

Try to keep a positive attitude. Accept that you have a small problem, one that inhibits the ability to see situations that are stressful, or painful correctly. This is very difficult when faced with a situation that causes you to panic. The trick is knowing that you have what it takes to overcome your panic attack and face it head on. Never look for the solution in anyone else. Instead, focus on the trigger and try to relive the trigger in your mind over and over again.

The Rising Cost Of Death & Burial

Friday, January 29th, 2010

With the rising costs of traditional burials over recent years, there has been a substantial increase in the amount for people now choosing cremation. Without the need to buy a burial plot, casket and pay for transportation of the dead body, costs are significantly reduced. Research shows that a simple cremation can start at $600 and a traditional burial costs anything from $2500 to $10,500. A service can still be held when the body is cremated similar to a burial service giving family and friends the chance to say goodbye and pay their respects. Once the cremation has occurred the family are able to take the remains home or scatter the ashes in a favourite place of the deceased, if preferred.
