Instrument Clusters Have Lights Nowadays
Wednesday, October 28th, 2009When a light comes on in your car that indicates that there is a problem that needs your attention, you know that you have been looking at the instrument cluster. Sometimes the warning lights are very intuitive about what needs to be done to fix the problem, but sometimes it is not very intuitive and you may need to refer to your owner’s manual to find the information that you need to know what to do.One the vague lights that may come on in your instrument cluster is the Check Engine Light. This light is a general light that can come on for any number of reasons relating to the engine in some way. For example, if you do not replace the cap properly where you fill the gas tank and then drive that way, it sucks in some air into the tank and this throws a lot of things off that will trigger the check engine light to come on.
